Saint Martin de Belleville is the historic village of Val Thorens, The chalet is located in Chatelard, a picturesque hamlet at the entrance to the Vallée des Encombres, 2 km from St Martin and its slopes with a beautiful view on St Martin and Chatelard villages and on la vallée des Belleville.

You reach the ski slopes of Saint Martin de Belleville 2 km by road ( free shuttle from 1 km )) 

If you want to go there on foot, there are secure ski lockers in the center of St Martin so you don't have to carry your equipment.

The chalet is ideally located, with no direct neighborhood, at the start of a hiking trail suitable for cross-country skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, tobogganing in winter and on foot or by mountain bike in summer.
